Your Appointment

We accept referrals from Optometrists and Doctors.

What to bring to your appointment

  • A current referral

  • Your distance and reading glasses

  • Any x rays, imaging, investigation results

  • List of your medications

What to expect during your appointment

Your appointment time is the time that you will be checked into the clinic.

You will then be seen by an orthoptist who will discuss your presentation, check your vision and perform tests depending on your ocular condition.

Many patients will require pupil dilation which can blur your vision for several hours after the consultation.

We do not recommend driving following pupil dilation and it may be difficult to return to work. We are able to provide a medical certificate if required.

You will then be seen by your ophthalmologist who will perform a detailed examination and review and explain any investigations.

Please allow up to 2hrs for your clinical visit.
